Hélico Horizon Gaspésie Inc. is a new company founded in 2020 by Mario Bélisle; a professional helicopter pilot for almost 20 years (Transport Canada Professional license 2001). He has been a resident of the region (Coin du Banc, Percé) since 2018,

Helico Horizon Gaspésie inc. collaborates with private owners owing Bell 206, ASTAR 350/H 125 and H120 helicopters, with accredited pilots trained in the Gaspesie region.

Mario Belisle, professional pilot and président

Mario Bélisle is a retired policeman from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) with 28 years of service. Including being the project manager for the Helicopter project from 2004 to 2007 for the SPVM. Having an entrepreneurial background, he was a professional magician for 33 years producing himself for groups of people across Quebec and Ontario, while working his day job as a police officer. With his warm and authentic personality, he was able to create an important network of contacts which deem useful today.

Since 2007, Mario Bélisle has extensive experience in the development of helicopter tours and tourism. His first clients took advantage of corporate helicopter tour packages offered on golf ranges. From 2009, in Gaspésie (Matapedia and Bay-des-Chaleurs regions) his services were requested in diverse town and city events. He also worked as a commercial tourist service developer from 2007 to 2017. In 2019, Mario decided to pursue his dreams and start his own company where he would put up front values that are his; such as security, eco-responsibility (including the impact of noise on residential sectors), and the quality of his services offered to clients, to provide an unforgettable, personalized product that he could proudly promote and offer.
