Hélico Horizon Gaspésie has its own take-off site (operation site) situated on private land of Route des Failles (des Failles Road) in Percé, behind the Mont Blanc – Canne-de-Roches sector. The site is at 750 meters from any residences, and since all take-offs are directed opposite from the residences, this voluntarily reduces the impact of noise pollution.

The development of the take-off area has received authorization from the Quebec Ministry of Culture and Communications. In fact, the site is located within the perimeter of the Percé heritage site and is therefore subject to the Quebec Cultural Heritage Act.

Mario Bélisle met the residents of the Canne-de-Roches sector who are closest to the site of operation in order to inform them of the arrival of the new company and to receive their comments or questions related to the development of this service and to measure the impact on their quality of life. Other meetings are possible on request.
